I am lecturer at Victoria University in their Certificate IV in Marriage Celebrancy course.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from La Trobe University.
I have a second Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Victorian College of the Arts (Melbourne University). (Performing Arts)
About Me
I am a creative and professional civil celebrant who has over ten years experience and who has officiated at over 200 Wedding ceremonies. I absolutely love ceremonies. I’m young, down to earth and train others to be celebrants. It’s my life and I’m passionate about it.

Weddings:
This includes gnerous consultation on choice and planning, an on-site rehearsal, trainiing of readers at the rehearsal, a PA system with a separate microphone for readers.
The priority of a professional Celebrant, is to give you, the couple, a complete choice of ceremony.
You may want a ceremony that is unique and creative or traditional and elegant Or you may want a ceremony that is down to earth and that has humour in it. Or you may want a combination of all of the above! I can do whatever you want and be at home with it - but it will always have dignity. $880 (includes GST) can be taken as a guide. NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. Funerals
I have officiated at about thirty Funerals. I take funeral preparation very seriously. It is a one time, only time, only chance, to pay tribute to a life. THERE IS NO SHORT CUT TO A GOOD FUNERAL. I spend as much time with you as is necessary. I preapre the eulogy and the ceremony to the best of my ability and I check every word back with you. Music is also extremely important. Sometimes a rehearsal is ncessary for a funeral.
I can also arrange to scan and sequence a photo series for showing on the plasma screens now provided at many Funeral venues.
The only fair way to pay a funeral celebrant is by the hour. This is the only way you can ensure that a celebrant can put the time in to do the task well.
My fee is $65 hour. (Ball park time - 10 -20 hours).
For State Funerals or very large Funerals - $400 per hour.
Funeral Planning
I can assist you plan your funeral and eulogy - a wise thing to do. This seems confronting but it is little different psychologically to making a will. I use the International College of Celebrancy's Funeral Planning guide and follow the details through with you. $65 per hour includes travel time outside my local area. About $440 (more if photos are to be scanned and placed on a CD)

Dear colleague
I am an experienced Marriage and Funeral Celebrant. I have a good quality battery powered PA System which has a microphone for Readers and Madonna microphone for the Celebrant. It also plays good sound quality music from an iPod. I am skilled at operating these.

I know that many of you could not justify investing in a PA system unless you do quite a few weddings. The Code of Practice requires that everyone present hear the ceremony. My experience is that most readers require amplification - but certainly, if there are 70 guests or more the celebrant and the ceremony needs it.

I am also pleased to assist with the ceremony and check your paperwork etc within the limits of the main task you want me there for.
Cost : $275 (within 20k of Mebourne CBD or Blackwood - extra for travel beyond 20k) ceremony only - Attendance and assistance at Rehearsal: Add $120 -
